Relationships are essential to the well being of people, institutions, and society. Modern culture is obsessed with relationships. Movies, songs, television dramas, and novels tell the story of relationships. We spend much of our time talking about and pondering our relationships. The range of relationship topics is limitless.

So, since we spend so much time in relationship, what is the mystery? Why are they so difficult?
Obviously, we are all still learning, growing and evolving in this realm. There are very few models for healthy relating. There is no shame in not knowing how to do it well already. Healthy, functioning relationships are an art.
For relationships to run smoothly it takes knowledge of yourself, an appreciation of others and an understanding of human dynamics.
